What is ‘Link to Mobile’?

The Link to Mobile feature is a great way to take advantage of mobile phone convenience comfortably at home. By linking your mobile phone* and the base unit via Bluetooth, you can make and receive mobile phone calls through your DECT handset. This is particularly useful if your home contains dead zones where mobile reception is weak or non-existent. Simply place your mobile phone where the reception is best, and use your cordless handset for clear communication anywhere in your home.

*Up to two mobile phones can be registered to a base unit.

When an incoming call is received on your mobile phone, the cordless handset also rings.
So even if you leave your mobile phone in a bag or in another room, you will still be notified when you get a call.

With this feature, smartphone notifications such as text messages, email, Google Calendar, low battery, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram can be displayed on LCD screen of base unit or handset. The phone can even announce the information (similar to the Talking Caller ID feature). What’s more, you will never worry about missing important text messages while you sleep, thanks to Silent Mode for App Alerts which lets you to select specified groups as VIP alerts.
